Dr. Marjan Saghatoleslami, C. Psych.
Dr. Marjan Saghatoleslami is a registered clinical psychologist in the province of Ontario and is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has been operating her private practice at Liberty Square Psychology Clinic in Markham, Ontario since 2008.
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Saghatoleslami provides comprehensive psychological services in the areas of Clinical Psychology, Rehabilitation, and Counselling Psychology. She has expertise in conducting psycho-educational assessments for Learning Disability and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. In addition, she offers rehabilitation psychological assessment and treatment services for individuals adapting to and coping with chronic pain or medical illnesses, injuries and disabilities. Dr. Saghatoleslami’s primary therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), although she also incorporates other evidence-based interventions, such as Mindfulness and Brief Solution Focused Therapies.
Prior to transitioning into a full-time private practice, Dr. Saghatoleslami’s clinical background and experience consisted of working in diverse settings, including the provision of psychological services in various inpatient and outpatient hospitals such as the University Health Network (UHN), (Toronto Rehab Lyndhurst Centre), William Osler Health Centre (Brampton Civic Hospital), and Baycrest Geriatric Care. In addition to these positions, Dr. Saghatoleslami was a Staff Psychologist at Seneca College and a outpatient community mental health clinic in York Region.
Dr. Saghatoleslami obtained her Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Anthropology from York University. She completed her master’s degree from Adler School of Professional Psychology. She completed her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.,) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois (Accredited by the American Psychological Association). Dr. Saghatoleslami also has certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Her pre-doctoral internship was completed at the Windsor Regional Hospital (Accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association) where her clinical rotations comprised the Mood and Anxiety Clinic, Regional Rehabilitation Program, Acquired Brain Injury Consultation Team, Adolescent Treatment Program, and OZAD Institute Research. She is an affiliate member of the Ontario Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and the Learning Disability Association of York Region. Dr. Saghatoleslami is a member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and a registered provider of psychological services to the Financial Service Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
Ms. Natalie Ho
Ms. Natalie Ho is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
She obtained her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Ottawa and her M.A. in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. She has had experience providing services to a diverse clientele in various clinical settings, such as the Argyle Institute and the McGill Psychoeducational & Counselling Clinic, and has worked with a broad range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, workplace stress, and relationship issues. Ms. Ho practices eclectically, drawing from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Aside from her work at Liberty Square Psychology Clinic, she also provides single-session phone counselling sessions to clients accessing Employment Assistance Program (EAP). In this role, she has also gained extensive experience conducting risk assessments, as she also works on a crisis line.
